Still don’t have plans for the Super Bowl?? Don’t worry we got you covered! We did some serious research over here this week and created an EPIC list of our favorite Sports Bars in Connecticut and honestly we can’t decide where we’re going to go… (Barrrrr crawl anyone!?!?!?)
The Blind Rhino: Black Rock & Norwalk
The Blind Rhino has two locations, both are ideal for the big game. Their Sono location will host its annual Sono Bowl, which boasts to be “CT’s biggest Super Bowl Pregame party.” The event includes a wing-eating competition, live music, raffles, drink specials, and more.
O'Neills: Norwalk
Irish public house with a large beer selection, classic English & Irish fare. Oneils is hosting a Super Bowl pregame party with live music from 27 West.
Dockside Brewery: Milford
Located on the banks of the Housatonic River in Milford, CT, Dockside is more than just a craft brewery and waterfront Biergarten. Reserve one of their private igloos, or hit their massive indoor sports bar.
The Trinity Bar: New Haven
A cozy Irish pub in New haven, CT. 12+ TVs for optimal views of the game!
Bears Barbecue: New Haven
Conveniently located off of I-91 in New Haven, is the place to go when you have a craving for delicious Kansas City Style BBQ, house-brewed beers, and craft cocktails.
Elicit brewing: Manchester
At Elicit Brewing, they claim to be “Resturantures at heart and beer lovers at the liver,” and let’s just say, they deliver! A brewery meets a restaurant with endless TVs and a great vibe.
The Tavern Downtown: Hartford
Known for its wings and burgers, The Tavern is a casual spot with a true pub atmosphere. According to our brand rep, Gina, “The pretzel at the tavern SLAPPPPSSSS”
The Bar & Grill: Newington
We asked our brand rep, Gina Salvatore, for a few sports bar suggestions in the Hartford area and she said The Bar & Grill is a personal fave. According to Gina, this spot is “A college bar but for adults 😂 . There’s no shortage of incredible food, bevs, and good vibes at The Bar. With indoor and outdoor space, you’ll never have to worry about catching the game on one of their many tvs”
Bobby V’s: Stamford & Windsor Locks
With 200+ HD TVs, we couldn't leave this spot off the list. Bobby V’s boasts one of the area’s most extensive drink menus, highlighted by 32 draft lines of top-rated craft beers and a major-league atmosphere.
Cover Two Sports Cafe: Sandy Hook
A local sports cafe in Sandy Hook Center committed to providing a great atmosphere, dining experience, and sports hub for the Newtown community & beyond. We love this spot for game day because they have TVs inside and on their heated outdoor patio!
Colony Grill: Fairfield, Stamford, Norwalk, Milford
A Connecticut staple and one of our game-day go-to's, this casual spot is the perfect neighborhood joint to watch the big game. We love the old-school vibe, the endless TVs, and of course, their famous thin-crust pizzas.
