Marketing Manager Position

We are a small, dynamic team looking to add a dedicated Marketing and Social Media Manager to our tribe. We are looking for a self-starting and proactive person to play a role in many parts of our marketing efforts. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in social media to assist our growing social presence and someone eager to learn the ins and outs of growing a lifestyle brand.


Marketing & Social Media Manager


The Two Oh Three is a local lifestyle brand based around Connecticut’s iconic ‘203 area code’. 

All of our products celebrate Connecticut & embody the lifestyle of our active & vibrant community. Our brand comes to life through our social media platforms, where we work to foster the essence of a CT lifestyle visually. We use social media as a way to connect with our customers on a daily basis. We work to inspire locals & embrace our community. 


20 to 25 hours a week with at least 15 hours in the office. 


  • Experience as a marketing manager or a similar role (2+ years of experience)
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms (Instagram & TikTok)
  • Ability to adapt to evolving marketing trends and changes in the digital landscape
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to develop compelling photo and video content strategies 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in email/text message marketing
  • Experience with Omniesend/Attentive (or other email/text message marketing tools) and Canva is a plus 
  • Strong time management & organizational skills


Social Media Marketing Tasks: 

  • Planning and developing social media campaigns, including the creation of engaging, original content strategies for relevant platforms 
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars (For Instagram, TikTok, and our Blog). 
  • Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics & videos on social media, complete with captions and hashtags within our brand voice
  • Post content across channels 
  • Drive social media engagement- answering DMs, commenting on posts, engaging with customers & followers across the channels
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing campaigns, social posts, and blogs

Email & Text Message Marketing Tasks:

  • Plan seasonal marketing campaigns 
  • Create a monthly timeline for email & text message campaigns that align with current and relevant sales, promotions & holidays 
  • Design & Implement Emails & Texts (Copy & Images) 
  • Track results & measure performance monthly for Email & Text campaigns 
  • Develop strategies to grow our email & social media audience

Additional Tasks: 

For our small business, no two days are ever the same, and we all work together to complete various daily tasks. We are looking for a team player who is happy to jump in and help us juggle several tasks involved with running a small business. 

  • Storefront Management: Maintaining a thoughtfully curated & merchandised storefront 
  • Shipping Online Orders (Printing labels and fulfilling online orders)
  • Customer Service: Answering & Communicating with customers over email
  • Inventory: Helping organize and manage inventory 
  • Wholesale / Retail Sales: Communicate with our retail stores and help fulfill orders as needed. 
  • Running errands as needed (picking up from vendors, dropping off at retail stores, picking up items for a photo shoot, etc.)
